Happy Spring Tiger Regiment families!!
We should first apologize for the lack of general communication these past few months. Mr. King, Rudy and the rest of the coaches transitioned from fall/winter and have been preparing students for their spring performances. The Concert and Symphonic bands have already had their first spring performance when they participated in Cal State Fullerton’s Festival on March 4th. It was a great opportunity for students to break into the season and receive great feedback from CSUF directors in preparation for their upcoming events.
For those with students in individual section groups (Winter Guard, Drumline, Jazz), a lot has already been happening and your section leaders have been hard at work scheduling competitions and helping with your Spring seasons.
There are also many events coming up that we want to update you on and some other important information you should be aware of. Keep reading and thank you for your patience and ongoing support of the Tiger Regiment!
Family Donations for Spring
Similar to the Fall, our Spring programs are still in need of support from our Tiger Regiment families. These donations go to support the continued activities in each area including purchasing new music, festival and competition fees, ongoing instruction, offset 2nd semester transportation, and other ongoing needs of the program.
Each section will be sure to include various fundraising opportunities to help offset the family donations. Your section booster VP will alert you when those are made available and we will include those on the Fundraising page of the tigerregiment.org website going forward.
Donations for each program follow.
- Drumline – follow up with your VP, Rebecca Price
- Winter Guard – $1500
- Jazz – $250
- Concert Band – $200 – Note: Anyone not a part of the above 3 groups are in Concert Band
An additional way to offset the family donation is through the Adopt-A-Tiger program. This is a simple way to ask family and friends to support you in the Tiger Regiment program. Click here to open and download the Adopt-a-Tiger letter. Personalize it, make copies, and send to family and friends! You’ll be surprised at how many are willing to donate when asked and 100% of these donations will go toward your family donation account!
